  • Extended crank after installing or uninstalling to a 2007.5 or newer GM gas vehicle

After installing or uninstalling to a 2007.5 or newer GM gas vehicle you may experience an issue where the vehicle has an extended crank before it will start, you may also see a check engine light, but no code will show up when you go to read DTC's.
In this case what you need to do is a battery reset, disconnect the positive and negative terminals from the battery under the hood, you can then either let them sit for 30 minutes, or hold the two ends together for one minute, hook them back up and the vehicle should start like normal
