  • 6.0 PSD Engine Oil Temp (eot)

Where does the Oil Temp value come from and what should it display normally? The PID has two oil temp selections and I get an invalid on one and the other reads pretty darn high! I've been told the oil temp and the coolant temp should never exceed 20 degree difference and I'm seeing 180 coolant and 250 oil temp. Just want to be sure of the inputs before I freak out!

The eot does not monitor corredtly on the sct. They are working on it in the next filmware release. Look in these forums and you will see that most of us have the same problem.

That makes me feel a lot better about the temps that I've been seeing. What about the tranny temps? Is there a problem in the firmware with those as well? On either PID I select for the tranny, I get an error message...

Neither one reads right. They are working on it.

Is this still an issue with the 6.0 PSD? Both my ECT and EOT seem off compared to my scanner.
          Thanks
