  • 6.0 late update help

I ordered a live wire TS+ to play with my truck, I've been messing with issues and replaced parts, all stock, what's left is. But long story short I didn't read the pamphlette and went off of a YouTube video. Programmed the truck without updating the device. I updated it without knowing and went to hook it back up to the truck and get nothing. I believe the error code is 10029, I can double check. And when it's in the obd2 it keeps telling me to turn the key off.. is there any way to salvage this?

so when plug in do you get return vehicle to stock message ? or can you go to program vehicle and select return to stock?

When I plug it in and go to program vehicle it says turn key off, error#11047 and all other options I pick from the menu say error# 10029. I'm going to try a couple troubleshooting things as far as checking for an update on my PC verse wifi tonight.

I got a warning when trying to update over the PC that said not to unless vehicle has been returned to stock, but why did it update when connected to wifi without giving me the prompt that I need to return to stock.

So generally the device doesn't update on its own, it always gives and warning, except when their is some additional files needed to run pre loaded tunes files. So since you still have an error message, you have two options, one have SCT help, or you could do a factory reset on your device. If you do a factory reset it may takfee car of your problem, but that is only if your factory calibration had been corrupted. This will allow you to use the device update software to do any additional updates. Of course this is at your own risk.

After checking the items listed below, try installing again.
          • Make sure your device is fully up to date. Plug into the Device Updater and Check for Updates. If there is an update available, update it.
          • Check "Vbatt" under "Device Info" from the main menu and make sure it's above 11.7volts. This is the voltage the ECM is seeing from the vehicle battery. If it is not above 11.7, charge your battery.
          • Disconnect any aftermarket electronics in the vehicle. Things such as but not limited to; cell phone chargers, Aftermarket decks, amplifiers, GPS's, radar detectors, aftermarket remote start systems, light bars, winches, air compressors, etc.

Error Code is a General Error. This error appears when you select any option on the touch screen.? if you have no reaction or communication with the vehicle then you will probably have to send the device into SCT for repair.

that usually is an issue with corruption on the firmware from what you are telling me, if you go into device info and you scroll down all the way down to Vbatt under device info does it read "ADC Error"?
if so please give us a follow-up by phone at 407-774-2447 so that we can reload the firmware to the unit.

            Thanks
